夜色渐渐地来临，四个人点起了篝火，围坐在水井旁休整，这片区域上没有猛兽，大家可以放心休息。

小象吃饱喝足后，围着他们在不停地转悠，还时不时用长鼻子去翻腾着背包。

“Hey, there's so much of your food around here, why are you stealing from us?（喂，这里到处都是你的食物，干吗还要偷吃我们的？）”高晓飞把小象推开，把背包拖了过来。

“He's thinking about our grilled fish!（它惦记着我们的烤鱼呢！）”布莱特看着小象笑道。

“But we only have one last meal!（可我们也只有最后一餐了！）”

“Hope to find food tomorrow!（希望明天能够找到食物吧！）”布莱特感叹道。

高晓飞双手一摊，看着布莱特叹道：“This is the African savannah. What do we want to eat?Food was everywhere, but you said no one could fight this one, no one could fight that one!And the fairy said this was lovely and that was lovely.Well!Besides what you two said, what else are we going to eat?Lions, cheetahs and other predators don't have to follow so many rules.（这里是非洲大草原，我们想吃什么没有啊？食物遍地都是，可你说这个不准打，那个也不能打！仙女也说这个好可爱，那个也好可爱。嗯！除了你们两个人说的，那我们还吃什么？狮子猎豹和别的猎食者可不用守这么多的江湖规矩。）”

凯丽忍不住扑哧一笑：“你要是饿了就先吃点烤鱼吧。”

布莱特道：“We're not wild animals, of course.（我们又不是野兽，当然要讲规矩了。）”他可是动保环保人士，除非饿得动弹不了，不然的话就不让乱打野生动物当食物来吃。

高晓飞无奈地笑道：“The beast was brought up on meat, but we were brought up on love.（那野兽都是吃肉肉长大的，而我们都是吃可爱长大的。）”

凝望着那满天大大小小忽明忽灭的繁星，井水中倒映着天空中飞淌的流萤，繁星似乎在井水中荡漾，原野上传来了虫子低声的秋吟。

一颗一颗繁星点缀在暗蓝色的天幕上，星光绚烂，似乎在等待着黎明的晨光和初升的旭日。

“星空好美！”凯丽仰望着星空，无限地陶醉着。

“仙女！知道你和星星有什么区别吗？”高晓飞挨坐在她的身边，凑近了她的耳边轻轻地问道。

“说说看。”凯丽嫣然一笑。

“星星在天上，而你，在我心里。”

暗蓝色的夜空中闪烁着璀璨夺目的光芒，像平静的深海涌起的波澜，遍地的仙女花环眷恋着星星的陪伴，平静得美丽欣然，浮动的风带着花香，飘进了夜空的怀抱，在这寂静的原野中沉醉、温存。

“Well, why don't you two stop sneaking around and speak up so we can hear it, too?（嗯，你们俩别老是偷偷摸摸了，大声点说出来让我们也听听行不行？）”布莱特笑嘻嘻地凑过来。

高晓飞使劲把他推开：“Go to, what call furtive, loudly said you also don't understand.（去去去，什么叫偷偷摸摸的，大声说了你也听不懂。）”

布莱特笑道：“There's a pig over there. Can you hear it?（那边有猪叫声，你听到了吗？）”

高晓飞没好气地说：“All I hear is your pig.（我只听到了你的猪叫声。）”

“It's not my pig, it's the boar over there. You want to hunt for food, don't you?I'll take you hunting boar.（不是我的猪叫声，是那边真的有野猪的叫声，你不是想打猎找食物吗？我带你打野猪去。）”

“Brett!What are you suffering from?So soon?（布莱特！你是受了什么刺激？居然这么快就开恩了？）”

“What? I'm afraid you'll eat me too if you're hungry!（开什么恩？我是怕你一饿急就把我也吃了！）”

高晓飞看着他一本正经地说道：“It's possible, but you're not too late or too stupid to be aware of the impending crisis.（这还是很有可能的，还好你有自知之明，能够及时意识到这种即将来临的危机，还不算迟，也不算很笨。）”

“Let's go.（那就赶紧走吧。）”

凯丽扑哧一笑：“Well, be careful.（嗯，你们小心点。）”

问天打开强光手电照过去，说道：“The boar is just over there. There are two. Be careful.（野猪就在那边不远，有两只，你们小心点，注意安全。）”

高晓飞和布莱特两人拿起枪，偷偷摸了过去，趴在了一处凸起土坡之上。

布莱特轻声说道：“See?In those two, the boars are called African red river hogs. They are covered with red-brown hair, with a distinct pale band from the top of their heads to their backs.They are spread across the continent of Africa, harming crops, literally flooding them.（看到了吗？就那两只，这种野猪叫非洲红河猪，遍体覆盖着棕红色的毛发，头顶到背脊之上有一条明显的浅色毛带，耳朵细尖，有点像精灵。它们分布在非洲大陆之上，危害农作物，可以说是泛滥成灾。）”

“Brett!I am to understand finally, your boy is not open boon, pull me to be a killer however, help you eliminate four evils to come?（布莱特！我总算是明白了，你小子不是开恩，而是拉我来当杀手，帮你除四害来了？）”

“Will you do it or not?（那你打不打？）”

“Of course, it's delicious!（当然打了，那可是美味！）”高晓飞压低了声音说。

布莱特轻声说道：“We hit that big red river pig, strong and fierce, if not, we have no place to run!Aimed at its head, two shots were fired.（我们打那只大的，红河猪身体强壮，性情凶猛，打不准的话，我们可没地方跑！瞄准它的头部，两枪齐发。）”

那头野猪不到一百斤，不算得十分大，被高晓飞和布莱特两支AK47步枪十几米的近距离射击，同时两枪命中头部，但还是嚎哼了好一阵，才渐渐地动弹不了，另一头也嚎叫着惊慌失措地逃命去了。

问天和凯丽也走了过来，四个人一齐把野猪抬了起来，往水井边走去。

“You see, in the distance ahead, half the sky is red. Is it a forest fire?（你们看，前面远方那边，半边天都红起来了，是不是森林大火？）”

大家一齐往远处看去，只见远处似乎是火光冲天，把半边天都映红了。

“It didn't look like a forest fire. It looked like it was stationary, and though the flames were high, they didn't look very big.（好像不是森林大火，这火光倒好像是固定的，虽然火焰很高，但面积不像很大。）”

“Is there a human habitat ahead?（会不会前面就是人类居住地了？）”

“Probably not. It would be horrible if there were such a fire in a human habitat.（应该不是，如果在人类居住地发生了如此的大火，那就太恐怖了！）”

“It's in front of us, so we might be able to walk down there tomorrow.（反正是在前方，我们明天或者就能走到当地一睹究竟了。）”

大家一齐动手把野猪杀好，围着篝火烤肉。四个人轮流休息，差不多忙到天亮，这才把所有的野猪肉烤完。问天抬头看那远处的火光时，竟然丝毫不变，远处的天空同样还被映得通红。

……

连绵不断的仙女花环，在天空下伸展，地势平坦而辽阔，只在远方有微微的起伏状，广阔得就像一片硕大无比的花海，苍茫浩渺，气魄摄人。

红日初升，霞光尽染无余，那轻舒漫卷的云朵，就好似身披红装的仙女，正在美丽的仙女花环之间翩翩起舞。

四人一象沐着朝阳继续出发，走到中午时分，仙女花环渐渐地消失，地貌也渐渐变得更荒芜，似乎看不见任何的生机，倒是和蒙古国的戈壁沙漠有点儿相似，但远山如黛，目所能及的远方似乎却也是布满着丛林的草原地带，想来是这一片独特的地貌曾经发生过什么变故，才换来了如此的荒芜。

一路上微风吹拂，空气暖和而干燥，突然间，前面的远方猛然出现了一条火龙，翻腾着直冲云天，场面十分壮观。

虽然距离很远，但大家还是被吓了一大跳，目测那条火龙高达百米，火苗形成一个垂直的漩涡，旋风般直刺天空，在半空中又在不断地增大，形成了一个烈火焰焰的火喇叭状罕见现象。

“Oh my god! What's going on here?（天哪！这到底是怎么回事？）”

“It's spectacular!（太壮观了！）”

“It's a fire tornado!There is a strong updraft over the center of the fire and a strong ground tornado, so the formation of a fire tornado.（这是火龙卷！是在火的中心上空伴有强烈的上升气流和很强的地面旋风，所以形成了火龙卷。）”

火焰龙卷风的形成必须在火焰燃烧产生高温，造成热对流上升后，如果这时高空有风，上升的气流会开始旋转，便可能形成所谓的火焰龙卷风。

火龙卷夹杂着熊熊火焰，像一条火龙似的旋转着翻腾向上，火势伴着一阵阵的强烈爆炸声呼啸着传了过来，声势惊人，历时了三十多分钟后，这才慢慢地消失。

随着四人的慢慢走近，前面的荒野上好像是出现了一个塌陷下去的坑洞，坑洞里似乎燃烧着熊熊大火，烈火焰焰，伴随着一种似是煤气的味道，虽然是在白天，但同样也能看到火焰升腾，更别说是晚上了。

此时，风势已经平息，坑洞里不再有火龙卷升起，但火焰依然燃烧，而且从坑洞之下发上来的阵阵啸声，犹如人类发出的尖叫声，更像是厉鬼的哀号，让人听得心惊肉跳。就连一路上顽皮捣蛋的小象，竟然不敢靠近。

四个人强忍住热浪滚滚慢慢地走近坑洞。这是一个在平原上坍塌而成的坑洞，直径约一百多米，深度在五六十米，地底下蕴含的天然气往外滋滋直冒，从而引起了熊熊大火。但最骇人听闻的并不是大火，而是在坑洞下的中间位置，透过火焰可以看到一个直径一米多的洞口也正往外喷着火焰，伴着火焰的喷射发出了一种爆炸似的呼啸声，在这种出现的超自然现象之下，传出了类似于人类的尖叫，就像成千上万人的哀号呼救，又像是地狱中罪人的呼叫，随后，突然听到一声声在自然界里从来没有听到过的呼号冲天而出，更是伴随着千千万万人的哀号呼救和阵阵凄厉悲鸣的惨叫声，仿佛有数不清的人正在地狱之下、正遭受着极其痛苦的折磨。

“Hell! This must be hell, the gates of hell!（地狱！这一定是地狱，是地狱之门！）”布莱特惊恐万状地发抖着，嘴里喃喃自语。

说到地狱之门，所有人的第一反应，自然是西方神话里关于地狱各种恶魔鬼怪的大门，是一种虚构的意象。由于西方神话里的地狱是充满火焰的，这个坑洞也同样充满了火焰。

“What gates of hell?You don't frighten people no, my little heart can not bear your fright!（什么地狱之门？你别吓唬人行不，我的小心脏可受不了你的惊吓！）”高晓飞不住地拍着心口。

“The gates of hell! The gates of hell!This is not an illusion. It is absolutely certain that we are standing at the entrance to the gates of hell.My god!Amen!（地狱之门，是地狱之门！这绝不是幻觉，绝对肯定，我们正站在了地狱之门的入口处。我的上帝！阿门！）”布莱特一个劲地喃喃着。

“Don't go over there. Back off. Back off.（不要再过去了，往后撤，往后。）”问天急向后挥手，招呼着大家后撤。

退出了一大段的距离，众人稍稍心定，布莱特更是如释重负，不住地喘着粗气。

“That's horrible! What the hell is that?（太恐怖了！那到底是什么声音？）”高晓飞也喘着气问道。

“It is the gate of hell, and the cave in the middle of the pit is the entrance to hell.（是地狱之门，深坑中间的洞穴就是通往地狱的通道入口。）”

“Is it really the entrance to hell that this place is desolate and uninhabited, and somehow has collapsed into such a deep hole?（这里荒无人烟，而又莫名其妙地塌陷出这么一个深坑，难道真是地狱入口？）”

“We just entered the door of a underworld some time ago, here again appeared a hell entrance, this hell in the end has how many entrances and exits?（我们前段时间刚进了一个冥界之门，这里又冒出了一个地狱入口，这地狱里到底有几个出入口啊？）”

“There are no exits in hell, only entrances!（地狱里没有出口，只有入口！）”布莱特和高晓飞你一言我一语地说着。

凯丽喘着气说道：“I don't believe this is the gate of hell, but it's an unnatural phenomenon and it's appalling!（我就不相信这是什么地狱之门，但这种超乎自然的现象也真够骇人听闻的！）”

高晓飞看着坑洞上的火焰，说道：“I don't believe in the gates of hell, but what about these supernatural phenomena?（我也不相信是什么地狱之门，可这些超乎自然的现象又该怎么解释？）”

问天拿过望远镜，往前面和左右两侧观察了一遍，说道：“This is definitely not the gate of hell, even if it is, as long as nothing bad has been done, there is no need to fear hell.（这绝对不是什么地狱之门，就算是，只要没做什么坏事，就没必要怕什么地狱。）”

凯丽连忙说道：“Yes, you have done nothing wrong, and you are afraid of hell!（就是嘛，你们又没做什么亏心事，怕什么地狱！）”

问天环顾着四周道：“This is a desolate area, which should be caused by underground natural gas seeping up to the surface. “But who lit the fire in the hole?（可洞坑里的火又是谁点燃的？）”

“There are few people here, certainly not a man-made fire, should be caused by lightning.（这里人迹罕至，肯定不会是人为点的火，应该是雷电引起的火源。）”

“What about the explosion from the bottom of the pit, and those horrible cries?（那坑底传出来的爆炸声，还有那些恐怖的鬼哭狼嚎又是怎么回事？）”

“Gas between by high temperature and mutual agitating, friction, will send out the explosion sound, of course, will also send out similar to the strange cry.（气体之间受到了高温而互相搅动、磨擦，就会发出爆炸声，当然也会发出类似于鬼哭狼嚎的怪叫声。）”

“Absolutely.（绝对算得上。）”

问天感叹道：“From the surrounding environment, it has been burning for decades at least!Here is no human habitation, can not be mined, only let these gas gold arbitrary combustion!（从周边的环境来看，最少也燃烧有几十年了！这里荒无人烟，无法开采，只能任由这些气体黄金恣意燃烧了！）”

“It's still very dangerous. Don't stay. Let's get out of here.（这里还是非常危险的，千万不能久留，我们快点离开。）”

小象正在远处焦躁地左右走动着，看见他们过来，这才安静下来，挨着凯丽不住地叫唤。

凯丽知道动物害怕这种气味和火焰，摸了摸小象说道：“All right, let's go.（好了，我们走吧。）”

渐渐地远离了这个所谓的地狱入口，走到午时，地上的草丛和灌木渐渐地多了起来，动物也渐渐地多了起来，大草原的面貌又再次出现了。

如今，地狱入口的火焰依然无法熄灭，夜以继日，将附近的天空和土地映得通红。它就像地球上一块永远无法愈合的伤疤，时刻提醒着人类，要敬畏自然。

四人一路上护送小象，在这个狂野的大草原上又徒步了十几天，竟然无法追上象群，但小象也在这段日子里和人类相依相伴，感情至深。小象一直都在成长之中，它那两根代表了整个象群象征的象牙也越来越长了。

“Everyone be careful, watch the baby elephant, in front of more and more animals, animals are also mixed in the grass.（大家小心点，看好了小象，前面的动物越来越多了，食肉猛兽也都混合在草丛之中。）”四个人端着枪，手上拿着一个扎好的长火把，以备在遭到猛兽袭击时点燃，警惕地穿行在无数的动物之间。

“I wonder if it's a group of baby elephants.（不知道是不是小象的族群。）”

高晓飞看着小象感叹了一声，苦笑道：“We walked with him for a month, as if he had become one of the migrating animals of the African savannah!（我们陪着它走了一个月，好像也变成非洲大草原上迁徙的动物大军其中的一队了！）”

布莱特笑道：“The great migration of animals on the African savannas is one of the most spectacular spectacles in the world.（非洲大草原上的动物大迁徙是世界上最壮观的奇景，我们能够代表了人类参与进来，这才是真正融入了大自然。）”

凯丽也笑：“This is to have zero distance contact with nature, you see, it seems that even the animals around us no longer look at us as monsters!（这才是和大自然有了零距离的接触，你们看，好像连周围的动物们也不再把我们当怪物看了！）”

“A lot of animals ahead, are they already at the destination?（前面好多动物，是不是它们已经到达目的地了？）”

There's no pattern to the route that migratory teams take every year.When the dry season arrives, migratory groups move from the southern plains to the northern woodlands and stay there for a while, and when the rains resume, the animals return to the southern plains.In this never-ending quest for good pasture, migration routes change from year to year, and animals stay for a while once they meet good pasture and water.（不会那么快的，迁徙队伍每年所走的路线并没有什么规律。当旱季到来时，迁徙队伍从南部平原移到北部林地，并会逗留一段时间；当雨季又重新开始时，动物们又回到南部平原。在这个永无止境追求好牧场的过程中，迁徙路线每年都会发生变化，在迁徙的途中，一旦遇上好的牧草和水源，动物们都会停留下来一段时间。）”

站上高处，只见一望无际的大草原上汇聚了无以数计的各路动物大军，密密麻麻布满了草原的各个角落。非洲大草原的旱季来临时，为了生存，拥有几百万头的角马、斑马、蹬羚、长颈鹿、大象和犀牛等食草性动物，以角马群为主力部队，义无反顾地向着水草充足的南部进行迁徙。

紧随着这些食草动物游走在这片漫漫草原上的还有狮子、猎豹等食肉动物，这些食肉动物则成为自然平衡的守卫者，杀戮也变成了淘汰老弱病残的正义之举，物竞天择一时竟变得如此残酷而神圣的惨景。几千年来，这些生灵就是这样如约而至，在一望无际的原野上，每到雨季到来的时候，隆隆的蹄声像闷雷一样此起彼伏，形成了这个星球上少有的、野生动物大移民的壮观景象。

这支数百万的迁徙大军，在这场危机四伏的长途迁徙中，大约会有几十万的食草动物死在途中，但众多新的生命也会在途中诞生。在这里，随时都会上演一场场惊心动魄的情景，狂野、惊险和悲壮的瞬间被演绎得淋漓尽致。但是，食草动物们依然乐此不疲，纵然在这场争斗中，更多是充当着弱者的角色。

在大迁徙的队伍中，要穿过狮子和豹子们的领地，提防着野狗群的追杀。在越过河流时，还会受到河中鳄鱼和河马的攻击。

在非洲大迁徙的巨大队伍中，角马以绝对数量优势成为主角中的主角，也是大迁徙的代表性物种。角马是一种生活在非洲草原上的大型羚羊，也叫黑斑牛羚，主要食物为青草和嫩枝。当旱季来临，角马为寻找新鲜草料，不得不迁徙，在长达几千公里的非洲大迁徙过程中，杀机四伏，危险重重，大约会有25万只角马死去；但角马依然不畏艰险完成迁徙，新生的小角马都会加入往返南北之间这永无止境的循环，聚众长途跋涉，涉水迁徙。

蹬羚是非洲大迁徙军团中的压阵官。角马和斑马离开后，草地上露出刚刚长出的嫩草，正是后面蹬羚的美食。不断壮大的迁徙队伍形成了一个触目惊心，浩浩荡荡的兽群。但地球上生物之间的食物链必须遵循以下顺序排列：植物数量要大大超过食草类动物，食草类动物数量要大大超过肉食类动物，万物相依相靠才能够生存下去，才可能生生不息地产生出来各自不同的物种。

动物们迎接着新的曙光，它们年复一年，迁徙于由南到北，又由北到南的草原之间，生生不息，祖祖辈辈，源远流长。（未完待续）
