马歇尔两人穿过一片开阔地，来到了离他们最近的一幢楼房。楼房唯一的大门已经上了锁，里面的值班室有两名警卫，全是女的。马歇尔让同伴在楼下守侯，自己则轻轻地顺着下水管道爬了上去。

从二楼的一扇窗户望去，屋里有八个十二、三岁的女孩儿，很漂亮，长着同样的脸儿，同样的身材，像是一位母亲生出来的多胞胎。甚至连她们身上穿的衣服也完全一样，只是印在胸前和背后的号码不一样。她们衣服上的这些号码，如果出现在运动场上，那是并不让人感到奇怪的，然而在这儿，一种压抑的氛围笼罩着整个房间。

Marshall was through a piece of open ground, and the two people came to a building that nearest them. The building only door had been locked, the inside of the office with two guards who all of them are women. “晚上好，克劳小姐！”女孩儿们纷纷站起来向那女人问安。

那女人令人厌恶的样子，与这些小女孩儿们形成了鲜明的反差。

那女人看了一下四周说：“今天谁值日？”

原来是这样，贴在墙上的马歇尔松了一口气。他又朝另一边的窗户望去，那间屋子里也有八个同样的女孩儿正在忙着就寝，所不同的只是衣服上的号码。“真见鬼！”他慢慢从下水管上爬下来。

马歇尔看看自己的夜光表，时间已经不允许他继续留在这儿了。他向罗杰做了个手势，两人借着微弱的灯光迅速撤出了铁丝网。为了不让他人看出铁丝网上的洞，他们尽量使铁丝网复原。

‘It's time to sleep, go to bed!’ The woman said as she turned and walked out of the door.

“其实，你还不是一样的？你在里约热内卢有妻子女儿，现在又和我在一起；再说，不是沃尔夫你能得到我吗？”

马歇尔盯着克拉克，不明白他为什么还不发信号，这么近的距离抓两个毫无防备的人，还不是易如反掌。

等他们走远了，克拉克对马歇尔轻声说：“等他们进屋。”克拉克不愿在室外行动就是怕惊动他人。

这是一座两层的小洋楼，二楼上面有个阳台。克拉克站在罗杰中士的肩上攀上了阳台。他转动手柄轻轻一推，门只是关着，并没有上锁，里面是一间卧室，房间里没有开灯，很暗。克拉克穿过里面那扇门，手上握着上了***的手枪，站在二层楼的楼梯口上，等待着楼下进一步的行动。

‘Ding!’ The doorbell was ringing.

‘It's so late, what one is?’ Michael asked himself to feel strange. He saw through the window that there was a woman thin dress standing at the doorway. What was she doing? Michael opened the door and asked, ‘What do you seek?’

当迈克尔正要进一步询问时，却看见自己的女人空着手从厨房里走出来，一个高个子男人一只手卡着她的脖子，另一只手上握着****。他心里想：“糟糕，被人暗算了。”这时，站在他身边的女人不知什么时候也抓起了一把小手枪。他知道反抗是徒劳的。

这时，门外的马歇尔和罗杰中士也冲了进来，科林下士在外面担任警戒。

“迈克尔，”克拉克说，“只要你合作，我可以保证你们的生命安全，这儿不久就要变成战场，你们不可能再回来了，带上你们的生活必需品跟我们走。”

When Michael was further inquiries, but saw that his woman empty-handed came out from the kitchen, a tall man by the hand stuck her neck, another hand holding a silent pistol. 肯特的女人在埃米莉和马歇尔的看押下走上二楼。她悉悉簌簌地在房间里收拾东西，埃米莉不时地催促她，提醒她带上足够的换洗衣服。末了她提了一个小手提箱走下楼来。

看到埃米莉他们从楼上下来，克拉克命令肯特道：“穿上衣服。”

肯特拿起他的军装。

“不！”克拉克说，“穿便服！”

肯特只得找来一件便装穿上。

Marshall stopped him. ‘No! Let her go.’ He said, pointing to Kent’s woman.

The woman of Kent went to the second floor with Emily and Marshall escorting. She tidied up things with the rustling in the room, and Emily urged her from time to time, to remind her to bring enough clothes. In the end, she went downstairs to take a **all suitcase.

Clark saw Emily they came down from upstairs, and commanded to Kent said, ‘Put on the clothes.’

Kent, picked up his military uniform.

‘No!’ Clark said, ‘Wear casual clothes!’

Kent had to find a casual wear.

对于克拉克这一系列的安排，马歇尔心知肚明。他知道克拉克不想让基地的人知道他们来过，竭力想造成一种肯特叛逃的假象。他到盥洗间找出一个拖把跑到楼上，把多余的脚印全部擦去。

“对不起，要委屈你们一下。”克拉克剪下两大块塑胶布贴在他们的嘴上，又用一根绳子捆住了肯特的双手。克拉克说：“听着，路上要老老实实，如果逃跑，就地处决！”

For this series of Clark’s arrangement, Marshall understood. He knew that Clark didn't want of base staff to know that they had come, to need to create an illusion of the Kent defected. He went into the lavatory to find out a mop, to go upstairs to wipe the redundant footprints.

‘I'm sorry it must wrong you.’ Cut out two large pieces of plastic, Clark to take it on their mouths, and with a rope tied the hands of Kent. Clark said: ‘Listen, the way to go honestly, if you escape, shot to death immediately!’

克拉克转身对埃米莉指着那个女人说：“你负责照顾她。”又对罗杰中士指着肯特说：“他由你负责。”他说完后往窗外观察了一会儿。

科林下士躲在暗处朝克拉克做了一个“OK”的手势。

克拉克离开窗帘挥了一下手说：“出发！”

马歇尔走在最后，他把屋里的脚印全部擦去，最后把拖把扔在门的后面，便关上了门。

当他们进入树林以后，埃米莉押着那个女人走在队伍的中间。突然那女人停住脚步，无论埃米莉怎么推她，她也不肯前进一步，鼻子里发出恐怖的噪音。

Clark turned to Emily to pointing the woman and said: ‘You are responsible to take care of her.’ He also said to Roger Sergeant as pointing Kent: ‘He is in the charge of you.’ Finish the talk, he looked out of the window for a while.

Colin Corporal hiding under the shadow made a gesture of "OK" to Clark.

Clark left the curtain waved a hand said: ‘Go!’

Marshall in the end, he wiped away all of their footprints in the house, finally threw the mop behind the door, and shut the door.

When they enter the forest, Emily went with the woman in the middle of the team. The woman stopped suddenly, no matter how Emily pushed her, who she would not go further, and nose made a terrible noise.

埃米莉往前一看，原来一条毒蛇爬了过来。“呦！”埃米莉忍不住叫了一声，那声音在寂静的树林里特别清脆。

大家都停了下来，抓住枪机紧张地看着四周，好在这儿除他们以外，并无别人。

马歇尔从后面赶上来用军刀砍死了那条毒蛇。

克拉克用责备的目光看了埃米莉一眼说：“怎么搞的！”

“对不起，”埃米莉像一只做了错事的小猫，怯怯地望着克拉克说，“也许你该再撕一块塑胶布。”克拉克瞪了她一眼没再说话，转身继续往前赶路。

后面的行动一切顺利，他们按原计划于凌晨四时回到了潜艇上。

Emily looked forward, originally a poisonous snake to climb over. ‘Oh!’ Emily can't help to cry, what the sound was special of ringing sound in the silent woods.
